KDS Unveils New Brand Slogan and Corporate Identity (CI)

Defining a Clear Direction for Global Impact and Sustainability.

 

The Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) has officially unveiled its new brand slogan and Corporate Identity (CI), reflecting the organization’s vision and core identity. This rebranding is a strategic initiative designed to communicate KDS’s values and roles more clearly while strengthening its expertise and credibility within the global development cooperation sector.

 

 

A New Slogan Shaped by Employee Participation.

“One Partner for Global Impact & Sustainability”

 

 

The newly selected brand slogan was decided through a vote by all employees. It symbolically captures KDS’s strategic direction to generate meaningful development outcomes on a global scale and create a sustainable future. In particular, the phrase “One Partner” embodies KDS’s determination to be the most trusted, "go-to" partner that stakeholders and cooperating agencies seek out first.

 

KDS has long emphasized its role as more than just an implementing agency, positioning itself as a strategic partner that creates value and solves problems together. This new slogan makes that identity even clearer, condensing the core values of global impact and sustainability into a single, powerful message.

 

 

 

A Future-Oriented CI Reflecting Strategic Identity.

 

The newly revealed CI visually expresses KDS’s commitment to opening new possibilities for the future.

  • Symbolic Design. The point design in the logo incorporates the letter ‘K,’ representing KDS’s unique identity while simultaneously symbolizing Korea’s Official Development Assistance (K-ODA).

  • Meaningful Colors. The colors used in the logo represent Impact(Orange), Innovation(Blue), and Sustainability(Green). They signify KDS's role as an institution that creates sustainable achievements through constant change and innovation.

 

This CI renewal goes beyond a simple design update; it is a visual embodiment of the future values and strategic direction that KDS aims to establish in the global development field.

 

 

 

 

A Strategic Leap Through Rebranding.

 

KDS plans to use this rebranding as a catalyst to communicate its organizational philosophy and expertise through a consistent message, further solidifying its foundation for cooperation with diverse stakeholders.
