2024 Second-Half New Employee Orientation
Date 2024.09.10

From September 2 to September 9, 2024, the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) held a vibrant orientation program for its newest team members in the B2 Seminar Room.
The first few days (September 2–3) were filled with inspiring sessions on KDS’s vision, understanding the international development consulting market, and updates on major projects across our various departments.
New employees also received practical guidance on internal work policies, had heart-to-heart talks with labor representatives, and learned the essentials of proposal writing.
From September 5 to 6, the focus shifted to professional core competencies, with in-depth lectures on performance management, project management, and financial accounting.
This orientation was designed not only for our 2024 second-half recruits (including YPs) but also for all interested staff members.
It was a wonderful opportunity to share KDS’s unique identity, vision, and future direction, while empowering everyone with the professional skills needed to lead successful ODA projects.
What made this program truly special was that all sessions were led by our very own KDS experts.
The curriculum was thoughtfully crafted based on KDS’s specialized competency model, ensuring that our new colleagues have the best possible start on their professional journey with us.
